Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant, recognizing his dedicated endeavors in reshaping the state and fulfilling the aspirations of its people. In a gracious message, PM Modi conveyed his best wishes to Dr. Sawant on his special day, applauding his commitment to bringing about positive change.
“Best wishes to Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant on his birthday. He is making wonderful efforts to transform Goa and fulfill people’s aspirations. Praying for his long and healthy life,” stated Prime Minister Modi, underscoring Dr. Sawant’s contributions to Goa’s progress and development.
Pramod Pandurang Sawant, born on April 24, 1973, in Mapusa, Goa, has emerged as a prominent figure in Indian politics and healthcare. A trained ayurvedic medical practitioner, Dr. Sawant has been serving as the 11th Chief Minister of Goa since 2019, representing the Sanquelim constituency in the Goa Legislative Assembly.
His journey into public service began with his academic pursuits, earning a Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery degree from the Ganga Education Society’s Ayurvedic Medical College in Kolhapur. He furthered his education with a postgraduate degree in Master of Social Work from Tilak Maharashtra University in Pune.
CM Dr. Pramod Sawant’s leadership is characterized by a strong commitment to serving the people of Goa and addressing their needs. Under his stewardship, Goa has witnessed significant strides in various sectors, reflecting his vision for inclusive growth and development.
