Today, India commemorates the birth anniversary of one of its most beloved figures, former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. On this special day, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi expressed his deep respect and admiration for the late scientist and statesman.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, often referred to as the “People’s President,” left an indelible mark on the nation through his dedication to science, education, and public service. His presidency, from 2002 to 2007, was characterized by his approachable nature, simplicity, and unwavering commitment to the progress of India.
Dr. Kalam’s legacy lives on through his numerous contributions to space and defense research, as well as his efforts to inspire and educate young minds. His books and speeches continue to motivate and guide aspiring scientists and students across the country.
On his birth anniversary, the nation pays homage to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, honoring a man who embodied the best qualities of leadership, education, and scientific excellence. His enduring impact on India’s progress and development will always be celebrated with deep respect and reverence.
