The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) has issued an Orange alert for specific districts, namely Malappuram, Idukki, and Pathanamthitta, forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall on November 5th and 6th. Anticipated rainfall measures range from 115.6 to 204.4 mm, raising concerns about potential flooding and related hazards in these areas.
The warning underscores the importance of preparedness and vigilance among residents and local authorities. Taking into account the likelihood of intense rainfall, it is crucial for everyone in these districts to implement precautionary measures to ensure safety.
