The government of Uttar Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, continues its commitment to enhancing religious tourism across the state. In a significant move, the government has announced the introduction of cruise services in the historically significant cities of Mathura and Ayodhya, adding to the already approved cruise services in Prayagraj.
Religious tourism in Uttar Pradesh has received a substantial boost with this development. These cruise services are designed to offer tourists a unique and enriching experience as they explore the spiritual and cultural heritage of these revered cities.
“The ‘Jatayu’ cruise, which has arrived in Ayodhya, is poised to take tourists on a captivating journey along the sacred Saryu River. The launch of this cruise service has been officially confirmed, and it represents a significant step in showcasing the beauty and significance of Ayodhya from a fresh perspective”.
In addition to Ayodhya, cruise services in Mathura are set to provide visitors with an opportunity to explore the city’s religious and historical treasures while cruising along its scenic waterways. Mathura, known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, holds immense spiritual importance for devotees and tourists alike.
The government of Uttar Pradesh recognizes the potential of cruise services to attract pilgrims and tourists, further enriching their experience of these iconic cities.
