Diabetes or not, but there are numerous positive effects of adopting a low calorie diet. This is a very strict diet and not easy for everyone to follow. But if you want to reverse your disease and live an active life, then you must follow it.

Your blood sugar levels are elevated too much which causes improper functioning of your body parts. To regulate the sugar levels, you must take the low calorie diet in order to minimize the sugar levels.

Burning your calories is very important to prevent this disease. Losing weight and exercising will make your insulin releasing cells in the pancreas function properly and control blood sugar levels. Exercise in whatever ways or methods that you like. BE it Zumba, Aerobics, Dancing, Pilates or any other calorie burning activity. Yoga helps a lot too.

These types of surgeries regulate your intake of food by allowing small portions to fulfill your hunger. They also make your stomach and digestive system better. It limits the amount of food you take resulting in lower levels of blood sugar. To undergo this surgery, make sure your BMI is 35 or above. It works like magic on those people who have the disease from 5 years or above and had not used the insulin yet.

Fasting

Fasting here doesn’t mean going without food or drink throughout the day. It means making a large gap between your meals. Make sure you don’t eat a big platter after an interval otherwise the purpose of  regulating blood sugars won’t fulfill. Results have shown a full stop in taking the medications and losing weight too. 

What Doesn’t Work

There is no magic pill to reverse diabetes. Don’t go for the products that claim to cure diabetes completely. Do not take any alternative medicine or dietary supplement to take the charge in your hands. Consult your doctor before trying any market product.
