Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Recruitment Numbers
According to Dr. Jitendra Singh’s statement, the number of recruitments conducted through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) saw a substantial increase under the Modi government. Between 2004 and 2013, the SSC recruited 2,07,563 individuals. In stark contrast, during the last nine years, the recruitment number skyrocketed to 4,00,691. This surge in SSC recruitments indicates the government’s proactive approach to addressing employment needs and strengthening public service.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Recruitment Numbers
Dr. Jitendra Singh also highlighted the recruitment numbers through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). From 2004 to 2013, the UPSC conducted 45,431 recruitments. However, in the last nine years under the Modi government, the number increased to 50,906. This upward trend in UPSC recruitments showcases the government’s commitment to attracting top talent and ensuring a capable and diverse bureaucracy.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Recruitment Numbers
The comparison of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recruitments further underscores the government’s focus on employment generation. During the 2004-2013 period under the UPA government, the RRB recruited 3,47,251 individuals. However, under the Modi government in the last nine years, the recruitment numbers soared to 4,30,594. This surge in RRB recruitments highlights the government’s efforts to strengthen the railway sector, boost infrastructure development, and create job opportunities.
Government’s Emphasis on Employment Generation
Dr. Jitendra Singh’s statements reflect the government’s unwavering commitment to employment generation and public service.
